Horizon Europe Cluster 3 – Meet & Exchange

Lessons Learned & Success Factors for Strong Project Proposals

18.05.2026, 13:00 - 16:00
Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft FFG

1090 Wien, Sensengasse 1

The aim of the event is to facilitate information sharing, present upcoming funding opportunities, and help participants find suitable partners by pitching and discussing project ideas for the Work Programme 2026/27.

This Meet & Exchange offers Austrian security research stakeholders the opportunity to discuss common challenges when applying for Horizon Europe Cluster 3, share experiences, and gain insights into key success factors for successful project proposals.

The event aims to prepare applicants as thoroughly as possible for upcoming calls for proposals and provide a space for exchanging experiences, networking, and refining their own project ideas.

What can you expect?

  • Lessons learned from the evaluations: Analysis of the Evaluation Summary Reports, reports from evaluators
  • Interactive discussions: What worked well? Where were the biggest challenges? What would you do differently in your next application?
  • Perspectives from end-users: Operational requirements and expectations; what do end-users really need?
  • Ideas from the FTI community: Presentation of project ideas, expertise, and partner searches
  • Time for networking and Q&A

If you would like to pitch a project idea, please send an email by May 13 to Jeannette Klonk, National Contact Point for Cluster 3, at [email protected].

Take advantage of this opportunity to refine your project idea, find potential project partners, and clarify any open questions for a successful application!
