By organising the "INDTECH2018 - Innovative industries for smart growth" conference, the Austrian EU Presidency makes a clear statement about the importance of research and innovation for a strong economy in Europe. INDTECH2018 will focus on the newest developments and industrial applications in nanotechnologies, materials, production and biotechnologies as key drivers for sustainable growth. Some 1,000 participants are expected.

Reichhardt: Enable sustainable growth

INDTECH2018 will be opened by Jean-Eric Paquet, Director-General of the European Commission’s DG Research and Innovation, Andreas Reichhardt, Secretary General of the Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology (bmvit), and Klaus Pseiner, Managing Director of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG).
