With "ERC Proposal Reading Days" FFG would like to offer potential ERC applicants the opportunity to read successful ERC grant applications well in advance before the respective call deadline. The first calls for the Starting, Consolidator, Advanced and Proof of Concept Grant within the ERC Work Programme 2021 will likely be launched in January 2021.
Due to the kind consent of ERC grantees, FFG can offer several sample proposals for the Starting and Consolidator Grant calls as reading material within FFG premises. The proposals currently cover the following ERC evaluation panels:
- Life Sciences: LS1, LS2, LS6, LS7, LS8, LS9
- Physical Sciences and Engineering: PE2, PE3, PE4, PE6, PE8, PE10
- Social Sciences and Humanities: SH2, SH3, SH4, SH5, SH6
The envisaged panel structure for WP 2021 can be found here.
Even if your presumable evaluation panel should not yet be represented in the list above, it can be helpful to have a look at applications from different scientific areas to prepare for your own proposal.
