The main idea of this training is to provide a platform for exchanging and discussing best practices in managing research ethics in Horizon 2020 projects. This training addresses ethic experts as well as other stakeholders responsible for managing ethical requirements. Thus, this training will enable the trainees to address research ethics properly and to discuss different aspects of research ethics in Horizon 2020 with their peers in other organisations.

 

FULLY BOOKED

 

This training will focus on the basic principles of research ethics and research integrity. The trainees will know how to identify ethical issues at the proposal stage and how to fulfil ethical requirements during the project implementation phase. The training will cover the following aspects:

  • The Ethics Appraisal Scheme in Horizon 2020
  • The Ethics Self-Assessment
  • The Ethics Summary Report and Ethics Requirements
  • Roles and responsibilities with regard to research ethics
