ERC Proof of Concept Roundtable
Sharing experiences for a competitive ERC Proof of Concept proposal

This information seminar addresses Principle Investigators of an ERC Starting, Consolidator, Advanced oder Synergy Grant as well as their potential team members/project partners, who consider applying for an „ERC Proof of Concept“-Grant in order to test the commercial or social innovation potential of an idea that arose from their ERC project.
Several years ago, the ERC introduced „Proof of Concept“ (PoC) grants to support Principal Investigators of a running or recently concluded ERC project in establishing the commercial or social innovation potential of an idea that resulted from their ERC Starting, Consolidator, Advanced or Synergy Grant.
The PoC funding amounts to a maximum of 150.000 Euro for up to 18 months. This information seminar offers comprised overview on the specifics of the ERC Proof of Concept grant, including the the evaluation criteria and the evaluation process, and shares tips and lessons learnt by a PoC evaluator and a PoC Grantee.
