SMART CITIES CONFERENCE IN VIENNA
INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES IN SUPPORT OF INTELLIGENT CITIES

The Institut français d’Autriche is organising a Smart Cities conference in Vienna, dealing with strategies for Smart Cities in the area of mobility, energy, water management and collaboration of Smart Cities.
The following topics and questions will be tackled:
- Which smart mobility strategy for the Smart Cities?
- How to reach an optimal energy supply with renewable energy sources in buildings and city districts?
- Nature-based solutions in the Smart Cities: the case of water management technologies in an urban environment
- How can Smart Cities better collaborate in the future?
Furthermore a matchmaking event for companies will be organised by the Advantage Austria/Austrian Economic Chambers (WKÖ), the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) and Business France Austria.
On the second day a guided tour to the Aspern Smart City Research project will be offered. This visit is organised by the Austrian Climate and Energy Fund.
