National Implementation of EU Missions: Podcast Episodes

Tangible Successes of EU Missions in Austria

Logo nationale Umsetzung der EU-Missionen

The five EU missions affect us all: They range from the fight against cancer to climate-neutral cities and adaptation to climate change, and on to healthy soils and water bodies.

In collaboration with journalist Andreas Sator and his popular educational podcast “Erklär mir die Welt,” five podcast episodes on EU missions have been produced. The discussions shed light on different perspectives on the missions, their challenges, and potential solutions, and use concrete examples from Austria to illustrate how they can be successfully implemented in practice. As is customary for the “Erklär mir die Welt” podcast, each episode explores a complex topic in an engaging and accessible way.

  • EU Mission "Climate-Neutral Cities": #366 Explain the City of the Future to Me, Peter Rippl
  • EU "Healthy Soils" Mission: #372 Explain to me how we can save our soils, Gernot Stöglehner
  • EU Mission "Protect and Restore Water and Waterways": #387 Explain to me how rivers are saved, Sarah Höfler
  • EU Mission "Beat Cancer": #392 Explain medical studies to me, Anna Berghoff
  • EU Mission "Mastering Climate Change": #395 Explain climate change adaptation to me, Sigrid Stagl

Please note that all episodes are in German.

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere thanks to the speakers and to Andreas Sator for their fascinating insights.
