Sorry… This form is closed to new submissions.
This online information session introduces the COST programme to researchers and experts, outlining the key features of COST Actions, participation opportunities, and practical insights from an experienced participant. The event will be held in English.

This online information session offers an introduction to the COST programme (Cooperation in Science and Technology) and is aimed at researchers and experts at all career stages based in Austria.

The session will highlight the key features of COST Actions as international research and innovation networks, explain how they differ from other common funding and programme formats, and outline the various opportunities for participation – including ways to join ongoing COST Actions.
Participants will gain insights into the structure of COST Actions, the different roles and leadership positions within an Action, eligibility criteria, and important aspects to consider when preparing a COST Action proposal.

In addition, a participant in a COST Action will share first-hand experiences and practical insights from her involvement in the programme.

For additional information, we also recommend watching the recording of the COST Info Day held by the COST Association on 18 February 2025, where key aspects of the programme were covered. The Q&A from that session is also available for further insights.
