The objective of the Broadband Austria 2030: Access funding is to provide comprehensive, nationwide coverage of households, businesses, and public institutions with gigabit-capable connections, along with the associated ability to use innovative services. The subsidised deployment of gigabit-capable access networks is intended to stimulate the wholesale market and ensure competition in the retail market.
