Revenues in Horizon Europe

If a prohibition has been established, no profit must be generated within the project.

An eventual no-profit rule is found in point 4.2 in the Data Sheet of the Grant Agreement (GA).

A revenue is all income generated by the action during its duration by profit legal entities as beneficiaries (i.e. if the accepted total EU contribution and the revenues together exceed the eligible costs of the project).

In the case that such revenues have been generated, they must be indicated in the final report and the EU Commission will deduct them at the final payment in proportion to the final rate of reimbursement of the eligible costs approved by the EU Commission.

The consortium may specify in the Consortium Agreement e.g. that the grant reduction is solely borne by the beneficiary that has generated the revenue.
