The EU’s Guiding Principles for Knowledge Valorisation aim to maximise the transformation of research and innovation results into solutions that benefit society. They address a variety of actors and sectors and are of particular relevance to the university sector.
The UnILiON Open Talk on 9 September 2025 focuses specifically on the Code of Practice for Industry and Academia Co-Creation and forms part of a continued discussion on a European level.

As the development of FP10 gathers pace, this UnILiON Open Talk offers insights into the Code of Practice Industry-Academia Co-Creation for Knowledge Valorisation and its potential in particular for universities to create the conditions to working in partnership, helping to bridge the gap between research outputs and marketable innovations and to support the uptake in society.

UnILiON is the informal network of Brussels liaison offices representing excellent universities based in Europe and Japan who act as information multipliers towards the represented organisations.

BayFOR, the Bavarian Research Alliance together with the FFG are hosting European Commission, Unit Knowledge Valorisation & Technology Infrastructures for this Open Talk.
