Individual advisory services and support for our Austrian clients in participating in European programmes and strengthening their position within the European Research and Innovation Area are among our most important services. The EU’s research and innovation programme “Horizon Europe” and the numerous European partnership initiatives are at the centre of our activities.

Our advisory and support services in detail

To address the wide range of questions related to European programmes in a targeted and efficient manner, we have developed various advisory formats for our clients.

Individual advisory meetings

Our National Contact Points  (NCPs) and experts  are available for advisory meetings – in person, by phone or online. Thorough guidance on legal and financial matters helps ensure your success.

Proposal support including proposal check

This key service begins with an initial check of your project idea to identify the most suitable programme line or call. We support and advise you throughout the entire application phase and offer a proposal check. As part of this, we review your application in terms of content and formal requirements before submission and discuss recommendations for improvement with you. Our experience shows that this significantly contributes to your success.

Potential analysis for companies

Are you making full use of your potential? We help you explore your organisation’s strategic opportunities for participating in the European R&I funding landscape. This includes comprehensive support for SMEs according to their needs and challenges, as well as assisting large companies in developing their strategic approach to participating in Horizon Europe.

Austrian research institutions

We support Austrian research institutions through a joint advisory process (“ERA Dialogue”) throughout the duration of Horizon Europe. In dialogue with representatives of your organisation (Vice-Rectorate for Research, research service units, etc.), we prepare organisation-specific analyses (potential analyses, network analyses, call analyses, etc.), jointly assess strengths and weaknesses, reflect on opportunities and risks, and agree on a tailored service package for your institution.

Further contact

Researchers at large Austrian research institutions – such as universities and non-university research organisations – have internal service units as their first point of contact:

Your mobile access to EU funding

The European Commission provides the app “EU funding & me” app to make access to EU funding easier via mobile devices. The app is linked to the Funding & Tenders Portal and allows users to browse funding opportunities, check the status of applications and projects, and communicate directly with the responsible Project Officers.

Additional features include personalised notifications and savable searches, calendar integration, and easy sharing of information.

Available on Google Play and the App Store!
