What is the Industry-Scale Reality Check about?
The following are supported Pilot and demonstration projects that test new or significantly improved technologies, processes or system components in a real environment;
Funding is provided for research and development projects in TRLs 7 and 8, which aim to demonstrate innovative technologies and have a clear focus on industrial application in preparation for a later market launch.
The projects must make a significant contribution in the field of key technologies.
Particular attention is paid to the following Key technologies with high leverage for industrial innovation and performance:
- Quantum technologies and photonics
- Advanced materials
- Advanced production technologies and robotics
- Chips, electronic components and systems
- Artificial intelligence (AI) and data innovations
