Industry-Scale Reality Check 2026 Key technologies from prototype to technical demonstration in a real environment Funding is provided for individual projects in the field of experimental development with a focus on key technologies in TRLs 7 and 8, which carry out pilot and demonstration projects in a real environment and thus aim to bring them to market more quickly. The aim is to increase the speed of exploitation of high-risk preliminary projects already funded by the FFG and to sustainably strengthen value creation and key technologies in Austria. Who can be funded? Ambitious small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)), who have already developed a functional prototype as part of an FFG-funded preliminary project and now want to demonstrate this on a larger scale for the first time. Submission is possible via the eCall of the FFG from the start of the tender (June 01, 2026, 10) until the end of the tender (October 15, 2026, 12:00 noon). When will a decision be made?
