The Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft (FFG) implements a range of funding programmes and support services on behalf of public authorities. Various legal provisions apply to these activities. The legal framework governing projects funded by the FFG comprises both generally applicable legislation and regulations (at EU and national level) and the participation rules established for each programme (including funding conditions, programme guidelines, funding instruments, cost guidelines and related documents). With effect from 1 January 2024, the funding administration guidelines were revised to ensure compliance with the applicable European legal framework.
