On behalf of the Federal Ministry for Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure (BMIMI), the FFG invites you to the stakeholder dialogue “From Raw Materials to Advanced Materials 2026”. Discuss new research trends and technological developments in the field of raw and advanced materials and connect with stakeholders from research and industry.
Within the framework of the stakeholder dialogue “From Raw Material to Material 2026,” participants will present selected R&D projects funded by the FFG. In addition, you will have the opportunity to present your project ideas and network for initiating new collaborations. The program is rounded off by a company tour at Lenzing AG. This year’s host will guide you through its process and value chains, from raw material to finished product. Look forward to an interactive day where innovation meets sustainability and exchange with experts from industry and research is the focus.
Focused research and development of efficient materials and functional surfaces strengthens the international competitiveness and resilience of Austria as a hub for production and innovation. The substitution of critical and problematic raw materials is of central importance in this context. Furthermore, additive manufacturing opens up new possibilities for material and process innovations, making industrial value creation more sustainable, resilient, and independent.
