Broadband Austria 2030: Connect

Improving nationwide availability of symmetrical gigabit connections for municipalities, SMEs, sole proprietorships (micro-enterprises), public institutions, as well as agricultural, forestry, fisheries, and aquaculture enterprises.

The Broadband Austria 2030: Connect funding programme is a de minimis state aid supporting the objectives specified in the Broadband Strategy 2030 in order to achieve nationwide availability of symmetrical gigabit connections by 2030.

Broadband Austria 2030: Connect aims to significantly improve the availability of symmetrical gigabit connections in areas with particular socio-economic relevance at locations of small and medium-sized enterprises, sole proprietorships, public institutions, as well as agricultural, forestry, and fisheries enterprises throughout Austria. The focus is on the direct use of the subsidised symmetrical gigabit connections via internet access services, resulting in the ability to use innovative applications and services.
