Internships for female students

Support for starting a career in research

Internships for female students are designed to attract young female scientists to careers in applied research in the scientific and technical FTI sector (research, technology and innovation). The students learn about career paths and advancement opportunities and gain a sound insight into applied research and development.

Internships are available in the following areas:

  • Climate-neutral city
  • Energy transition
  • Mobility transition
  • Circular economy and production technologies
  • Space and aviation technologies
  • Digital and key technologies

The aim of the call for applications is to attract young female scientists to careers in applied research in order to increase the proportion of women and improve their career opportunities in the funded organisations.
