European development and expansion of large research infrastructures

The "European Research Infrastructures" (INFRA) program promotes the establishment, expansion and integration of large research infrastructures such as laboratories, databases, high-performance computers, etc. These are open to researchers from the academic sector and innovators from industry. Objectives of the program

In principle, the program supports the preparation of new large-scale European research institutions as well as the merger of existing regional or national research institutions into a European network. The aim of the program is to provide users in Europe with the best instruments, laboratories, databases, etc. So that they can carry out their own research and development.

  3. Research infrastructure services and support for health research, accelerating green and digital transformation and basic research
  4. Next generation of scientific instruments, tools, methods and advanced digital solutions
  5. Network connectivity in research and education
