Promoting Internationalisation

Find new cooperation partners – conquer new markets!

Want to work with the world’s best? No problem – with support from the FFG

  • Whether bilateral calls, multinational networks, or framework programmes extending over several years – there are many options for funding international cooperation.
  • Several national programmes also permit foreign partners to participate in project consortia (max 20% of total funding).
  • Austria has to date secured around EUR 1.4 billion in funding from the EU  Horizon 2020 programme alone.

The FFG supports Austrian research and university institutes, companies and other organisations in establishing and expanding cooperative relationships. A range of special measures are available for cooperating with non-European partners, both with and without a specific country focus.
