Promoting Internationalisation

Find new cooperation partners – conquer new markets!

Want to work with the world’s best? No problem – with support from the FFG

  • Whether bilateral calls, multinational networks, or framework programmes extending over several years – there are many options for funding international cooperation.
  • Several national programmes also permit foreign partners to participate in project consortia (max 20% of total funding).
  • True to its commitment to 'targeted openness', Horizon Europe will continue to offer third countries a wide range of opportunities to participate in all four pillars of the programme.

FFG supports Austrian research and higher education institutes, companies and other organisations in building and expanding cooperation relationships. For collaboration with non European partners, a range of special measures is available — both with and without a country focus. FFG also helps non European startups and scaleups from selected target regions discover the advantages of Austria as a potential launchpad for their expansion into Europe, thereby supporting know how and technology transfer to Austria.
