12.11.2025, 09:00 - 17:00
This event will take place in the ceremonial hall of the BMIMI
On behalf of the Federal Ministry for Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure (BMIMI) we invite you to the Take Off Insights 2025 Event – the Event for getting informed about current RTD results by the austrian aviation community and the ideal platform for networking and shaping the future together.
This one-day event brings together leading experts, industry representatives, researchers and policymakers to showcase funded and recently finished aviation RTD projects within Take Off. Network e.g. with Axel Krein, Executive Director of Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking, as well as Austrian and European researchers from industry and academia. Use also the chance to get informed about the upcoming Take Off 2025 call.
Join us to discover groundbreaking developments, engage in high-level dialogue, get connected to new potential partners and be part of shaping the future of sustainable and competitive aviation.

Take Off is Austria’s flagship funding programme for aviation-focused research, technology and innovation – initiated by the Federal Ministry for Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure (BMIMI). Its mission: to empower Austrian companies in strategic fields, strengthen skills and expertise across industry and academia, and boost the market readiness of next-generation aviation products and services.

By fostering innovation, cross-sector collaboration, and a strong research network, Take Off is driving Austria’s competitiveness on both national and international levels. The ultimate goal? Increased growth in the aviation sector, deeper integration into European and global programmes, and a solid foundation for cutting-edge innovation — leading to secure high-quality jobs across the country.

Take Off Insights 2025 brings this mission to life. The event will showcase recently finished projects supported through the programme and the launch of the new Take Off 2025 call. It also serves as a key platform for dialogue, exchange and networking among researchers, innovators and funding recipients.

The event will take place in the ceremonial hall of BMIMI and is open to anyone interested in the future of aviation research and the Take Off programme.
