The TAFTIE Association allows the national organisations to learn best practices from an analysis of how other members run their affairs. It also enables them to collaborate at a European level.
The Austrian FFG as a member of TAFTIE is responsible for the TAFTIE Acadamy which was founded in 2009. The aim of this Academy is to improve the skills of the staff and the quality of processes. These activities also support network building by bringing people together, exchange know-how, bundle experience, share good practices and experiences the challenge of international work. They furthermore foster cooperation between agencies.
But also the mutual support of transnational initiatives and projects, especially concerning small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), are important assignments of the TAFTIE network.
