„Long-term public funding as provided by the EU-Framework Programme is crucial for supporting research that stimulates innovations we need. Horzion 2020 has been a success story both for Europe and Austria. The successor programme, Horizon Europe, is currently being worked out and takes some new paths to further increase the impact of EU research and innovation. The panel "impact made in Europe", will look at the impact achieved with Horizon 2020 from different angles and simultaneously gaze into the future of Horizon Europe: Two of the key issues are whether we have the right recipes to boost Europe’s research and innvation and what impact (economically and socially) we actually want to achieve in the future?“
