This year for the first time, the Aviation Forum Austria is jointly organised by the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK), the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), Aviation Industry Austria (AIA), ecoplus - the Business Agency of Lower Austria, Holzcluster Styria, and the Austrian Economic Chamber - ARGE Industrial Cooperation & Aviation Technology. The motto of this year’s event is “TECHNOLOGY – COOPERATION – GREEN SKY”.

During the event, topics such as “International Cooperation for Efficiency and Sustainability”, “Bridging: Today & Tomorrow”, “Circular Economy and New TEC Solutions for a Clean Aviation” and “The Future of Aviation” will be highlighted and discussed from a range of perspectives.
As part of the accompanying exhibition, companies and research institutions have a chance to introduce themselves and network with participants. The evening event is an opportunity to further discuss topics and develop networking between players at both a national and international level.

Registration is open until 28/09/2023. Participation in the event is free.

Every effort has been made to align the event with the criteria of the Austrian Eco Label for Green Events. This includes numerous measures, from the choice of catering, resource-efficient procurement, waste avoidance and separation through to programme planning. We would very much appreciate you replicating these efforts by choosing an environmentally-friendly method of transport and avoiding waste .

If you are planning to travel by car, we recommend reducing your carbon footprint through car sharing. You can also offset CO2 emissions by making compensation payments: myclimate (https://www.myclimate.org), klimaneutralität.boku.ac.at (https://klimaneutralität.boku.ac.at), climateaustria.at (https://climateaustria.at), atmosfair.de (https://www.atmosfair.de).
