Innovation Voucher - Funding, Guidelines


The Innovation Voucher is a funding instrument designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises in Austria to start ongoing research and innovation activities. The Innovation Voucher enables enterprises to enlist the services of research institutions and to pay for these services to a maximum value of € 12.500,- (80 % funding quota). Submission of an application is possible at any time.

A consortium is requestet of single applicant plus reserach institution (non-university research institutions and universities).

Eligible costs These vouchers are earmarked by non-repayable subsidies up to € 12.500,- (can be made after payment of 20 % retention of max. € 10.000,-). The funding intensity is therefore 80 %.

Availability from 02.01.2018 - constantly

The Innovation Voucher is designed to encourage SME to co-operate with research institutes. It should make it easier for small and medium-sized companies to overcome inhibition thresholds regarding cooperations with research institutions.
