Projektbeschreibung
Das Projekt POScity zielt darauf ab, neue Algorithmen für die Positionierungskomponente eines Fußgängernavigationssystems für sehbehinderte Menschen zu entwickeln. Das Konsortium plant dabei, neue Ansätze basierend auf der GNSS-Methode PPP zur Einzelpunktbestimmung sowie einem Partikelfilter zu untersuchen. Dazu werden navigierbare Karten mit relevanten Informationen für sehbehinderte Menschen verwendet.
Abstract
The proposed project POScity aims at the development of new algorithms for the positioning component of a pedestrian navigation system for visually impaired or blind people. The consortium plans to investigate new approaches based on the GNSS single point positioning technique PPP and a Particle filter including a navigable map. The navigable maps used in this project will contain special information relevant to visually impaired pedestrians.
