Projekthintergrund und Nachfrage: Aufgrund des demografischen Wandel und ausgelöst durch den digitalen Wandel gehören Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) und Healthcare zu den am schnellsten wachsenden Datenmärkten. Tatsächlich hat sich der Bereich AAL in den letzten Jahren kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt; er ist geprägt von einem rasanten Wachstum, einer stetigen Entwicklung und einer hohen Dynamik. SYNYO hat in den letzten Jahren wesentliche Ergebnisse (TAALXONOMY, AAL Vision, ActiveAdvice etc.) in diesem Bereich geschaffen und datenorientierte Projekte (OpenDataMonitor, UrbanData2Decice, FutureTDM etc.) durchgeführt, die zu einer großen Anzahl von strukturierten Daten und Datenseen führen. Das Sondierungsprojekt AAL+Healthcare Data transformiert bestehende Datenbestände und zu bedarfsorientierten, neuartigen Datensätzen und Datendiensten für den Datenmarkt Österreich (DMA) auf Basis der detaillierten Bedürfnisse und technischen Anforderungen etablierter Gesundheitsdienste und Pflegeorganisationen wie der ASBW und weiterer potenzieller Datennutzergruppen. Ziele und Innovation: Die Hauptziele des AAL+Healthcare Data-Projekts sind daher (1) die Untersuchung geeigneter Kenntnisse, (wissenschaftlicher) Literatur, Best Practices und bewährter Geschäftsmodelle sowie der Datenanforderungen für Datensätze und Datenverwendung im Bereich AAL und Gesundheitswesen in einem nationalen und internationalen Kontext. (2) Das Projekt zielt darauf ab, realisierbare Nutzungsszenarien von AAL- und Gesundheitsdaten zu konzipieren, indem relevante Stakeholder und ihre individuellen Datenanforderungen durch quantitative und qualitative Erhebungen erfasst werden. Um die Vermarktbarkeit der Daten zu garantieren, ist (3) die Erarbeitung von Datensatzstrukturen einschließlich relevanter Beispieldaten, gesetzlicher Validierungen und Spezifikation von Lizenzen und Formaten ein wichtiges Ziel. Um die Sichtbarkeit des Projektes und der Projektergebnisse zu garantieren, ist darüber hinaus die (4) Verbreitung der Projektergebnisse über den Datenmarkt Österreich und weitere Kanäle, einschließlich der Bereitstellung von Merkblättern und Inhalten relevant. Zudem zielt das Projekt auf die (5) Erstellung einer kurz- und langfristigen Verwertungsstrategie einschließlich Geschäfts- und Dienstleistungsmodellen sowie eines strukturierten Maßnahmenkatalogs. Ergebnisse und Erkenntnisse: Wichtigstes Ergebnis des AAL+Healthcare Data Projektes sind eine Reihe von anerkannten Datensätzen, die an die Anforderungen der AnwenderInnen und des DMA angepasst sind. Alle Datensätze haben definierte Datentypen, Formate und Standardisierungen, werden systematisch klassifiziert und rechtliche Fragen, sowie Fragen zum Datenschutz, zur Sicherheit und zur Verschlüsselung sensibler Daten werden entsprechend behandelt. Darüber hinaus wird das Projekt eine Roadmap liefern, die spezifische Verwertungsstrategien mit kurz- und langfristigen Auswirkungen für verschiedene Nutzungsszenarien für Geschäfts- und Servicemodelle enthält. Davon profitieren Datenanbieter (im Projekt durch SYNYO repräsentiert), Datenbroker (DMA) und Datenkunden (im Projekt durch ASBW vertreten). Jeder entwickelte Datensatz und die daraus abgeleiteten Dienste führen zu wesentlichen Verbesserungen in Bezug auf Zeit, Kosten oder Qualität von Entscheidungen, Informationsvisualisierungen, Recherchen etc.

Abstract

Background and demand: Driven by the demographic change and the digital transformation the markets of Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) and healthcare are becoming some of the fastest growing markets for data. Indeed, in the last years, the field of AAL has developed continuously; it is shaped by a rapid growth, a steady development, and is overall highly dynamic. Over the last years, SYNYO has created essential outcomes (TAALXONOMY, AAL Vision, ActiveAdvice etc.) in this field and implemented data-oriented projects (OpenDataMonitor, UrbanData2Decice, FutureTDM etc.) leading to large amount of structured data and data lakes. The exploratory project AAL+Healthcare Data transforms existing data repositories and to demand-oriented, novel datasets and data services for the Data Market Austria (DMA) based on detailed needs and technical requirements of established health services and care organisations like the ASBW and further potential data user groups. Goals and innovation: Thus, the main goals of the AAL+Healthcare Data project are (1) to investigate appropriate knowledge, (scientific) literature, best practices and approved business models, as well as data requirements for datasets and data usage in the area of AAL and healthcare in a national and international context. (2) The project aims to concept feasible usage scenarios of AAL and healthcare data by including relevant stakeholders and their individual data requirements with quantitative and qualitative surveys. (3) In order to guarantee the exploitation potential of the provided data, an important goal is the elaboration of dataset structures including relevant sample data including legal validations, and specification of licences and formats. In order to guarantee visibility of the project and its outcomes, (4) dissemination of the project outcomes via the Data Market Austria and further channels, including the provision of leaflets, and content is of high relevance. Finally, the project will aim at the (5) creation of a short-term and long-term exploitation strategy including business and service models, as well as a structured set of measures. Outcomes and findings: Core outcome of the AAL+Healthcare Data project are a number of approved datasets adapted to the user requirements and the DMA. All datasets will have defined data types, formats and standardisations, are classified systematically, and questions of legal issues, data privacy, security and encryption of sensitive data will be addressed accordingly. Furthermore, the project will provide a roadmap that contains specific exploitation strategies with short-term and long-term impacts for different usage scenarios for business and service models. This will benefit data providers (represented within the project by SYNYO), data brokers (DMA) and data customers (represented within the project by ASBW). Each developed dataset and derived services will lead to core improvements in time, costs, or quality of decisions, information visualisations, searches etc.
