Projektbeschreibung

Das im Projekt StadtKlimaVISION konzipierte Innovationslabor für klimaneutrale Stadtplanung soll eine Klimawende, mit den Zielen Klimawandelanpassung und Klimaschutz, in österreichischen Städten und insbesondere in der Stadt Linz vorantreiben. Dieses Ziel erfordert ein starkes Engagement und den gemeinsamen (politischen) Willen einer Stadt, um die Instrumente der Stadtplanung und den Verwaltungsapparat dahingehend anzupassen und alle Interessensgruppen von der Wirtschaft, der Wissenschaft und Zivilgesellschaft mit ins Boot zu holen. Die Stadt Linz hat die Ambition zu den 100 europäischen klimaneutralen Städten bis 2030 zu gehören und somit Vorbildwirkung für viele mittelgroße Städte Österreichs, welche von dem urbanen Innovationslabor profitieren werden. Endresultat ist das StadtKlimaVISION Konzept für ein urbanes Innovationslabor, das die Ergebnisse der technisch-wissenschaftlichen Sondierung sowie der Stakeholder-Aktivierung und Visionserstellung in einen Umsetzungs-, Struktur- und Kapazitätsplan überführt.

Abstract

StadtKlimaVISION aims for setting up an innovation laboratory for climate-neutral urban planning which intends to promote a transition towards climate change adaptation and climate protection in Austrian cities and in particular in the city of Linz. This goal requires a strong commitment and the (political) will of a city in order to adapt its planning instruments and administrative structures accordingly and to get all interest groups from business, science and civil society on board. The city of Linz has the ambition to be one of the 100 European climate-neutral cities by 2030 and thus a role model for many medium-sized cities in Austria, which will benefit from the urban innovation laboratory. StadtKlimaVISION results in a concept for an urban innovation laboratory, which transfers the results of the technical-scientific exploration as well as the stakeholder activation and vision creation into an implementation, structure and capacity plan.
