Projektbeschreibung

Die Sondierung MEIDLINGER „L“ erarbeitet eine Grundlage für eine Transformation und ein Demo-Projekt für neue vertikale und horizontale Grünräume an Häuserfronten im Straßenraum. Das Projekt verfolgt einen integralen und inter-disziplinären Ansatz zur Klimawandelanpassung im baulichen Bestand an der Schnittstelle von öffentlichem und privatem Raum. Es wird ein skalier- und multiplizierbares Modell für Wien und andere Städte auf Grätzlebene entwickelt. In integraler Arbeitsweise werden Fragen des Prozessdesigns, der rechtlichen, finanziellen, organisatorischen und sozialen Rahmenbedingungen mit der Stadt Wien als Paradebeispiel, sowie kombinierte Begrünungs- und Energietechnologien, Installation und Unterhaltung sondiert und geprüft. Weiters werden realisierbare nachhaltige und zukunftsfähige Finanzierungsmodelle identifiziert und eine ko-kreative Grätzlklimawandelanpassung zur Sicherung der Bevölkerungsintegration und -identifikation etabliert.

Abstract

The MEIDLINGER "L" project develops a basis for a transformation and a demo project for new vertical and horizontal green spaces at house fronts in the street space. The project takes an integral and inter-disciplinary approach to climate change adaptation in existing buildings at the interface of public and private space. A scalable and multipliable model will be developed for Vienna and other cities at the Grätzle level. In an integral approach, questions of process design, legal, financial, organizational and social framework conditions with the city of Vienna as a prime example, as well as combined greening and energy technologies, installation and maintenance will be explored and tested. Furthermore, feasible sustainable and future-proof financing models will be identified and a co-creative climate change adaptation in the Grätzl will be established to ensure population integration and climate change adaptation identification.
