FFG-Academy Webinar: Getting ready for research ethics and research integrity in Horizon 2020

How to identify ethical issues at the proposal phase and how to address them properly in the project implementation phase?

This webinar will support applicants and researchers in managing research ethics properly. The following questions will be discussed:
• What are the fundamental principles of „good scientific practice“?
• How to start with the ethic self assessment?
• What are the main issues that have to be considered?
• What are the roles and responsibilities with regard to research ethics?

This webinar will explain the basic principles of research ethics and research integrity. The audience will know how to identify ethical issues at the proposal stage and how to fulfil ethical requirements during the project implementation phase. The speakers will focus on the following elements:

  • The Ethics Appraisal Scheme in Horizon 2020
  • The Ethics Self-Assessment
  • The Ethics Summary Report and Ethics Requirements

There will be sufficient time for Questions and Answers.
